Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme.
Each meeting usually includes a speaker, plus a chance to chat over a cup of tea and to learn from each other. The topics discussed cover a wide variety of subjects, from specific medical conditions to wider issues and interests. There is usually access to a medical professional, and chest consultants are popular speakers.
In previous meetings we have learnt about subjects as diverse as:
- Bronchiectasis
- COPD
- yoga
- acupuncture
- stress management
- pensions advice
- flower arranging
- inhalers
- medical ethics
We have been lucky enough to attract many expert speakers, including:

- Professor Sherwood Burge OBE (Consultant Chest Physician - Birmingham Heartlands Hospital)
