Dr Lawford Hill with Lynn Fletcher

When? First Monday of the month, except in December or when the Monday is a Bank Holiday. (See below for details of upcoming meetings.)

Where? St Mary's Church Centre, St Mary's Road, Leamington Spa

What Time? 7pm

How much? We don't charge for meetings, although we welcome donations to help cover the cost of refreshments.

Who can come? All are very welcome -including your family and friends.

(N.B. There are no meetings in Jan, May, June or Dec)

Each meeting usually includes a speaker, plus a chance to chat over a cup of tea and to learn from each other. The topics discussed cover a wide variety of subjects, from specific medical conditions to wider issues and interests. There is usually access to a medical professional, and chest consultants are popular speakers.

In previous meetings we have learnt about subjects as diverse as:

• flower arranging
• inhalers
• medical ethics

We have been lucky enough to attract many expert speakers, including:

• Professor Sherwood Burge OBE (Consultant Chest Physician - Birmingham Heartlands Hospital)

Our Vice-Chair is Lynn Fletcher, Respiratory Nurse Specialist - Warwick Hospital.
